Moved to the Western Bay?

If you have moved from another council district to the Western Bay, you need to:

1. Notify the previous council of your change of address.

2. Let us know within one month of your move. You can do this by calling or emailing the Customer Services team on 0800 926 732 or info@westernbay.govt.nz

3. Complete a tag swap for your dog's registration tag from your previous council's tag to a Western Bay tag. You can do this by bringing your current year registration tag into one of our area offices. There is no charge for your tag swap.
