Property owners in the Western Bay of Plenty District are responsible for mowing the grass verges outside their property. If you think your neighbour's verge is a fire hazard please contact Fire and Emergency New Zealand.
Grass on your neighbour's property
If the grass on your neighbour’s property is unkempt, Council cannot intervene unless there is a risk to your health or the environment. If you think the grass on your neighbour's property is a fire hazard please contact Fire and Emergency New Zealand.
