Approval and Certification Application Types

The ‘Approval and Certification’ application types (Post Decision) are the subsequent certification or additional approval required once a decision has been made or an objection to a decision Council has made.

Survey Plan Approval - s223 RMA

Use this application type if you have had a subdivision consent decision issued by Council and you have prepared a survey plan to be deposited with LINZ (Land Information New Zealand) to begin the process of creating new land parcels.

Deposit of Survey Plan - s224 RMA

Use this application type if you have had a subdivision consent decision issued by Council and you have met all the conditions of that subdivision consent.

Combined Survey Plan Approval - s223 RMA and Deposit of Survey Plan - s224 RMA

Use this application type if you have had a subdivision consent decision issued by Council and you are intending to apply for a S.223 RMA survey plan approval and certificate under S.224 RMA at the same time.

Engineering Design Approval

Use this application type if you have had a resource consent (subdivision or land use) decision issued by Council which includes a condition requiring engineering design approval prior to the works being carried out.

Land Use Objection - s357 RMA

Use this application type if you have had a land use consent decision issued by Council and you object to a part or parts of the decision or fees.

Subdivision Objection - s357 RMA

Use this application type if you have had a subdivision consent decision issued by Council and you object to a part or parts of the decision or fees.

Combined Land Use Objection and Subdivision Objection - s357 RMA

Use this application type if you are proposing to submit an Objection to a combined land use consent and subdivision consent decision issued by Council.

Road/Street Naming

Use this application type if you have had a subdivision consent decision issued which includes the creation of new roads or streets that require naming.
