Public Notice - TINEX Group Limited
Public Notice - Summary
Summary of Proposal:
Tinex Group Limited have sought a resource consent being a Non-Complying activity overall, to authorise the use of part of the site at 245 Te Puna Station Road for industrial activities, as follows:
- Storage and renovation of relocatable houses, storage of empty skip bins, portable fencing and building materials, over a tenancy area of 0.8ha.
- Storage and renovation of relocatable houses, over a tenancy area of 0.21ha.
- Swimming pool shell storage over a tenancy area of 0.3ha.
- Storage of large earthmoving machinery tyres over a tenancy area of 0.26ha.
These businesses are already operating at the site, and this application seeks to retrospectively authorise them.
The site is subject to the Te Puna Business Park Structure Plan, which requires development and infrastructure works to be completed pre-requisite to operating industrial activities. These pre-requisites have not been fulfilled in accordance with the Operative District Plan, hence the industrial activities do not qualify as permitted activities.
Consent is sought for a consent term of up to two years.
Location:
The subject site is located on Te Puna Station Road, Te Puna. The site is served by two existing vehicle entrances, an existing sealed vehicle entrance at No. 245 Te Puna Station Road which serves the existing dwelling and accessory buildings (e.g. implement sheds) in the west; and a metalled vehicle entrance in the east of the site at 205 Te Puna Station Road, which serves the area currently used for the four Industrial activities and is intended to be used as the main entrance for the future use of the site.
