What the ePlan can do
Definitions
Clicking on a word that is in blue font and italicised will open a ‘pop-up’ definition window. You can read the definition text and copy and paste if you need to. The ‘pop-up’s’ wording is based on the Section 3 Definitions which should always be referred to as well.
Jump to other sections of the ePlan
Jump to other sections in the plan by clicking on the blue font. You can then jump back to where you were by selecting the back arrow on the toolbar
View reference links
Open a new browser window by clicking on the blue bolded text for reference links such as related documents or other organisations’ websites.
View images
Click on images and diagrams to open in a new browser window. You can see the images in closer detail and print out separately.
Create and print PDFs
Turn a section of the District Plan into a PDF document to email, save or print.
Print a PDF map view by selecting print from the bottom of the Map Tools.
Navigate between the GIS interactive maps and the District Plan sections
View District Plan in full or by specific section/zone by clicking on a related layer header or the District Plan links.
Go back to the map view by clicking on the map image or using the back arrow in the browser toolbar.
View Planning Map Grids
You can see the entire District with the planning map grid shown which (sometimes these specific grids are is are still referred to in some sections of the District Plan).
You can however turn off the grid and labels from the map tools if you like.
Create a Property Report
You can create a property report for a selected property to email, save or print. The property report includes a map of the selected property showing the relevant District Plan zoning and any other relevant features.
Bookmark a section of the District Plan
You can bookmark a section of the District Plan to your favourites so you can find it quickly next time.
You can even bookmark a favourite map location
Measure, draw and add text to the map view
You can use measuring, drawing and text tools on the map view. These tools can be selected from the right hand Map Tools panel.
