Drone Flying Waihī Beach

When:

• Low tide windows are at 1pm - 3:30pm on Mon 16th Dec, 2pm - 4:30pm on Tues 17th December, 3pm - 5:30pm Wed 18th Dec, 3:45pm - 6pm Thur 19th Dec 2024 - this is entirely weather dependent
• If we can't get it done then due to weather, we'll automatically reschedule this to the next day during low tide (plus one hour).

What to expect:

• The drone will be < 10kg and flying at 120m above-ground in a grid pattern
• You may notice a small ‘buzz’ as a drone passes nearby
• Our contractors will be as careful as possible to avoid flying over people on the beach, as well as having a parachute fitted for safety reasons.
