Te Puke Community Board By-election

Nominations for the Te Puke Community Board by-election open this week on Thursday, 24 November, 2016.

A by-election is required after board members Mike Lally and Grant Dally were also successfully voted onto Western Bay of Plenty District Council as Te Puke/Maketu Ward Councillors in the October election.

Fifth polling candidate Joan Dugmore took one spot, joining Chairperson Peter Miller and Deputy Chair Bev Button. The by-election will determine the final member of the Board.

Anyone interested in standing for the community board must have their nomination in by 12noon on Thursday, 22 December. Voting will be open between 26 January and 17 February, 2017.
