Athenree water shutdown

Contractors will be installing a stormwater line for a new subdivision on the corner of Athenree Road and Pohutukawa Drive, requiring a shutdown of the water network from 9am-12pm on Monday, 7 August.

Properties affected:

• Athenree Road between Koutunui Road & Roretana Drive
• Koutonui Road - including all side roads
• Sandleigh Drive
• Pohutukawa Drive - including all side roads

Residents are advised to turn OFF the power supply to their hot water cylinder and have some water stored for personal use for the duration of the shutdown period. During this time staff may contact you, or may need to access your property to flush outside taps.

Council's utilities maintenance contractor, Veolia, will mange the shutdown process - open/close valves and bleed the system. All Veolia staff carry warrant identification cards for verification purposes.
