Agrecovery is coming to the Western Bay with its recycling programme for containers on 27 and 29 September.
Agrecovery provides New Zealand farmers and growers with nationwide programmes for container recycling, drum recovery and the collection of unwanted or expired chemicals.
Brand owners that distribute agrichemical, animal health and dairy hygiene products into the New Zealand market take responsibility for the disposal of these products and their packaging.
Agrecovery will be at the Katikati Recycling Centre from 10am until 2pm on Wednesday, 27 September and at Te Puke Recycling Centre on Friday, 29 September.
Triple-rinsed containers will be accepted from brand owners for free on-site shredding.
