• The Western Bay of Plenty District Council is calling for expressions of interest from interested sporting/recreation groups with regards to the use of the old sea scouts shed on Ōmokoroa Domain, Harbour View Road entrance for storage/limited use.
  A questionnaire is required to be completed by each interested group to enable a fair assessment of each group’s application for use of the building. The closing date for the return of these questionnaires is 5pm, Monday 25th November 2024.
  The Community Board and staff will review the applications and then make a recommendation to Council.
• Pursuant to section 54 (1)(b) of the Reserves Act 1977 the Western Bay of Plenty District Council proposes to grant a lease of a 112.5m² shed building to a recreation based organisation situated on Ōmokoroa Domain for a term of up to 10 years. The proposed lease requires the building lease to be subject to section 54 of the Reserves Act 1977.

The reserve is comprised of approximately 2.9390 ha and is located adjacent to The Esplanade and Harbour View Road, the area on which the building is located is registered under certificate of title 790221 and described as Section 3 SO 506747. The land is owned and administered by the Western Bay of Plenty District Council as a Recreation Reserve under the Reserves Act 1977.

Anyone wishing to make a submission or objection may do so in writing or by email, to be received no later than 5pm, Monday 25 November 2024. Please state in your submission if you wish to be heard in person.
