Waihī to Ōmokoroa community open days

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency invites you to come along to their community open days as part of the Waihī to Ōmokoroa safety project.
As part of the safety improvements already underway on this stretch of SH2, additional investment has provided for 14km flexible median barrier and six intersection upgrades, making this road safe for everyone.
This is your opportunity to get up to speed with what’s happening on site and learn more about these life-saving barriers and the construction programme ahead.
All are welcome and there’ll be activities for the kids too!
