How libraries contribute to community well-being
The role of the public library and librarians has changed considerably from being a book lending service to providing a range of services, programmes, events, and collaborations with a range of stakeholders and partners. More libraries are becoming vital community hubs providing access and support to community members, with innovation being the key to attracting new readers to the library.
Taituarā has established a partnership with Public Libraries NZ (PLNZ) to improve how public libraries demonstrate the value that their contributions make to their communities.
The following link is to a brief survey for members of the public to complete. This is to determine how libraries are being perceived by non-users in the community across Aoteraoa, New Zealand. All responses will be collated by Taituarā.
