Ultimate Fun Fest day and night at TECT Park this Saturday
This Saturday it’s celebration time all day and night at TECT Park.
Western Bay of Plenty District and Tauranga City councils invite you to the TECT Park Ultimate Fun Fest featuring an extravaganza of free entertainment to mark the park’s 10th birthday.
Pack a picnic, grab a chair, torch and some cash – and come up to play for the day and the night.
From 10am until 3pm there’s the annual Mud Dog Run, bouncy castle, pony rides, face painting and more – Santa Claus will be coming in by chopper to surprise the kids.
Sports clubs that call the park home will also be opening their doors to the public for have-a-go activities and demonstrations, including Bay of Plenty Four Wheel Drive Club, Tauranga Model Aircraft Club and paintball
And then you’re welcome to kick back at night, from 7pm to 10pm, to enjoy food trucks, a laser light show and a big screen showing of Kiwi legends Six60’s sell-out Western Springs show.
The Ultimate Fun Fest is one of the largest public events hosted at TECT Park.
Free buses will be available for both the day and night sessions leaving Katikati, Te Puke and Aquinas College while shuttles will ferry people to various activities within the park from the main event space.
