Minor works at Waihi Beach Water Reservoir carpark

Stormwater improvement work on the service vehicle track up to the water tank at the Waihi Beach Water Reservoir has started this week. It is expected that the work will be finished by the end of this week (subject to any weather or other delays).

Public walking trails will not be affected, however we ask that people take care around the work site as there will be machinery operating. There will be no vehicle access to the upper carpark.

The work is being done to redirect stormwater coming down the vehicle track in preparation for work later this year (tentatively September) to extend the main carpark.
