Christmas message from your Mayor

Christmas is a special time of the year.

A time to reflect, give thanks and celebrate.

But most importantly, it’s not what is under the Christmas tree that matters, it is the people who are around it.

While you are enjoying time together with family and friends over the break please take time to stop and think about those who are less fortunate.

Our communities are diverse and so we must reflect on the positive contribution we can make to enrich the social fabric of our District and reach out to others in generosity and understanding.

I wish you and your loved ones a very special Christmas and look forward to working with you in 2020.
