The plastic pontoon at Omokoroa boat ramp will be out of operation for a few weeks. The northern pontoon assembly will be removed on Tuesday 25 September - the gangway will also be removed so that it is not in the way.
Repairs will take several weeks with the units being returned and reinstalled by Anchorage Pontoons Ltd before Labour weekend. The boat ramp remains in operation with the south side pontoon units remaining.
Repairs have been scheduled to avoid the busiest time of the year but this may still cause inconvenience for some users which Council apologises for.
