Sealing work planned for Western Bay reserve carparks

Resealing of some carparking areas at Western Bay of Plenty District Council's recreation reserves starts in May and will mean brief closure of the carparks while the work is underway.
This work is part of Council's regular re-sealing programme to ensure the parking areas are up to an acceptable standard.
The programme will include repairs to the sealed surfaces of some carparks as well total re-sealing of those that need more work.
The car parks will be closed for up to two days at a time while the work is being done.
The following reserves will be included in the programme:
- Waihi Beach Surf Club and North End carpark
- Anzac Bay - Boat Ramp Area
- Tuapiro Reserve
- MacMillan Reserve
- Haiku Park
- Hunters Reserve
- Pahoia Reserve
- Kaiate Falls Reserve
The work is scheduled from 1 May 2019, subject to weather, and is likely to take up to two months to complete. Council apologises for any inconvenience.
