Much more than books at Te Puke Library
Craft making, colouring in, winter reading programmes, movies, computer lessons - and everything is for free at the Te Puke Library.
Community activities for all ages are part of life in the library every week and virtually every day.
Libraries Team Leader Amanda-Jane McFadden is expanding the variety of activities this year to make the library a creative community space for everyone - with a new activity programme designed for adults.
"Libraries are so much more than books,'' says Amanda. "We are always adding more to our range of activities - the latest for this year is an adult colouring club and an adult winter reading programme.''
These activities add to the calendar already up and running, including a monthly craft class, a monthly Friday movie morning, iPad/Android lessons and weekly Stepping UP computer education classes.
If you are interested in joining the library's activities give them a call or pop in while you're passing.
