Last chance to tell us about your place
Have you shared your view on the speed limits of the roads you drive every day? Or whether you think we need more options for minimising waste?
It’s the final week to share your views and make a difference in your community as part of Western Bay of Plenty District Council’s Your Place Tō wāhi campaign.
Feedback closes 5pm, Friday 30 June and everyone who completes all their neighbourhood’s quick polls goes in the draw to win a $100 grocery voucher.
You can also tell us about anything else that’s important to you, even if it isn’t included in one of the topics.
Western Bay Mayor James Denyer says, “we’ve already received a wide range of feedback but the more feedback we receive now, the better equipped we are to make decisions reflective of everyone as we progress key projects.”
Over the past few weeks, neighbourhoods have held community events, supported by Council, where locals were able to talk about local issues affecting their neighbourhood.
“It’s been fantastic to be able to get out to our communities to kōrero with residents and hear their thoughts.
“Huge thanks to those community leaders that have spent time planning with us, gathering feedback and organising events.”
Here’s how you can be a part of Your Place Tō wāhi:
