Council service centres open on poll day

Western Bay of Plenty District Council service centres will be open this Saturday (19 May) from 9am to noon to receive any votes regarding the Māori Ward poll.
Voting documents were sent to all electors on the District's electoral roll (comprising electors from both the general and Māori parliamentary rolls) in April and electors have until noon, Saturday 19 May to return these.
Completed documents can be hand delivered to a ballot box at one of Council's service centres:
Barkes Corner - 1484 Cameron Road, Greerton, Tauranga
Waihi Beach - Waihi Beach Community Centre, Waihi Beach Road, Waihi Beach
Katikati - 36 Main Road, Katikati
Te Puke - 130 Jellicoe Street, Te Puke
Omokoroa - McDonnell Street, Omokoroa.
Progress results are expected around mid-afternoon on Saturday.
The formal result will be publicly notified by 23 May, 2018.
