Applying for a Water Supply Connection
Working Near or On Utilities
If you plan to work near or on any utilities, you’ll need to:
- Complete the relevant application form for the work you intend to do.
- If you’re connecting to our Wastewater or Stormwater network, please fill out the specific application forms for Wastewater or Stormwater connections.
Contractors
We maintain a list of approved service connections contractors who have agreed to provide connections to our standards. We maintain a separate register of contractors registered to install pressure sewer systems. You must choose a contractor from these lists—download them below.
Work cannot begin until you have our approval and have notified us on who the contractor is.
Become an approved contractor for water services connections
Only contractors approved by us will be permitted to undertake work on our water supply network. To undertake work specifically for the Council a contractor must be SHE approved (pre-H&S) and comply with Council’s procurement requitements (available online).
