Ruby's story
Ruby, Border Collie X
Backstory:
Ruby was found roaming in a forest where a hunter took care of her until the Animal Services team was able to pick her up. She had no microchip or registration so we couldn’t find an owner. She was quite skinny and very happy to receive some love and food. Ruby’s current owners contacted us to explain that due to uncontrollable circumstances they had rehomed her as a puppy. But now they were able to provide her a home once again.
Owner Report:
Ruby has settled back in great. She is very well behaved and loves her bush walks. We recently took her up North on a road trip and she got to run around on the family farm and had loads of fun with the other dogs. Thank goodness she had no interest in the sheep or chickens.
We like to take her on a big walk through the bush or around the wetlands.
She is still learning to drop the ball when playing but does very well at giving a paw so we can get the ball from her.
She loves the beach but has to save any stick that goes in the water. She just loves being around us and has not once stepped out of the front gate when it is open, she just lays under the cars or on the deck and watches people walking by.
We are so happy to have found her again. We love her soooo much and the kids love having her home too. Especially, our son as she is his best animal friend.
