Long Term Plan (LTP) 2012-2022
Welcome to Council's 2012 - 2022 Long Term Council Community Plan, otherwise referred to as the Long Term Plan.
In a nutshell the Long Term Plan, which we are required to review every three years, outlines the finer points of why Council is doing things, what work will be completed over the next 10 years and what it will cost.
This plan was adopted on 28 June 2012, after a public consultation process held in May 2012 which attracted 406 submitters.
For a summary of the decisions made on the major consultation issues, please refer to the chapter called "Decisions on key issues" contained in the document.
This plan succeeds the previous Long Term Plan produced by Council in 2009, which covered the period 2009-2019.
We encourage you to use this document to discover how we plan to make the Western Bay of Plenty District one of the best places in New Zealand to live, work and play.
