Test your biosecurity threats knowledge

Have you heard of the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug? What about Myrtle Rust or the Northern Pacific Seastar?

These are just a few of the pests and diseases that pose a great threat to our beautiful region if they were to enter Aotearoa and spread.

This is why local organisation, Tauranga Moana Biosecurity Capital, has put together a fun quiz that teaches kids all about these potential threats and how to recognise them.

But the fun isn’t just for the kids - Tauranga Moana Biosecurity Capital would love for our community to get involved and test their knowledge!

Did we also mention there’s epic prizes up for grabs too? Each week they have a prize pool of unique adventures and vouchers up to the value of $700, all you have to do is enter.

The quiz opens on Monday 26 September and will run until 24 October.
