Te Puke Town Centre
Planned work for Te Puke's town centre from 16 to 27 January remains predominantly focussed on the following projects:
- Work on the informal pedestrian crossing opposite Paper Plus
- Creating a new pedestrian crossing opposite the Te Puke Library
- Creating a new pedestrian crossing next to Palmer Place.
The majority of this work will be completed at night. Jellicoe Street is closed overnight on Jan 18, 19 and possibly 20 to allow contractors to complete the work with minimum delays to traffic.
Contractors will continue to keep businesses in town updated throughout the project.
Council is providing weekly updates on scheduled work in Te Puke for the remainder of the construction period.
